the objects of the cio are (1)to advance the hindu faith, custom and cultural activities, and the heritage and language of the chitrapur saraswat community including the provision for community activities and social interaction among all the people in the wider community, including spreading awareness about health and well-being, interfaith activities and spiritual development.(2)to advance the activities of the shri chitrapur mat_h_ (the math), including but not limited to organising prayer groups and celebrating religious festivals and the historical heritage of the math, its 11th spiritual leader and guru his holiness parama pujya sadyojat sha?karashram swamiji and all future spiritual leaders or mathadhipati in continuation of the guru parampara (the lineage of the spiritual leaders of the community) in the uk and overseas.
