the object of the cio is to advance the lives of young people living in or near the asko suburb of addis abeba, ethiopia, who are orphans and hiv positive, or otherwise in need by addressing their economic, social and emotional needs in such ways as the charity trustees think fit by:a. awarding scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any university, college or institution of higher or further education;b. providing their education, to undertake travel in furtherance of that education or to prepare for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment;c. relieving of unemployment in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment;d. developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals;e. providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare;f. advancing mental and physical wellbeing by the provision of counselling and emotional support.
