the objects of the charity are for the public benefit of residents of hackney and the surrounding areas:1.1.1 to promote community participation in healthy recreation, by the provision of facilities for the playing, learning, and teaching of the game of lawn tennis and other racquet sports; and1.1.2 to provide and maintain facilities for tennis, sport, recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life.1.2 this provision may be amended by special resolution but only with the prior written consent of the commission.
