3.1 the objects for which the charity is established (objects) are:3.1.1 the advancement of religion for the benefit of the general public in accordance with the rites of the church of england;3.1.2 the advancement of heritage for the benefit of the public by supporting the preservation, restoration, maintenance, repair and improvement of the fabric and contents of bristol cathedral and its precincts;3.1.3 the advancement of education of the general public in the role and the history of the church of england and of bristol cathedral;3.1.4 the advancement of music by supporting the provision and promotion of music and the anglican choral tradition at bristol cathedral for the benefit of the public; and3.1.5 such charitable purposes connected with supporting the charitable work of bristol cathedral as the trustees shall in their absolute discretion determine.
