"the objects of the hub by overington care are:the advancement of education - for the public benefit to promote the education (including social and physical training) of the public in general (particularly, but not exclusive to, carers/ companions of the elderly or impaired) through the continued development of their individual capabilities, competencies, skills and understanding in subjects of health & social care.to provide community transport - to provide transport facilities within a 10-mile radius of seaton, devon, for people who have special need of such facilities because they are elderly, poor or disables or those living in isolated areas where there are no adequate transport facilities. the promotion of social inclusion - to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially isolated in the area of seaton, devon and the local environs, reliving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.for the purpose of the clause, ""socially excluded"" means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result, but not limited to, the following factors: unemployment, youth or old age, ill health (physical or mental), discrimination or as a result of being a member of a socially and economically deprived community.the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare (the recreational charities act 1958) - to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of seaton, devon and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social or economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants."
