the object of the cio is the relief of those in need due to ill health via the provision of physical therapy and rehabilitation care for individuals with motor diseases such as parkinson?s, stroke, ms & huntington?s. it will also donate to research in this field when it deems the research clinically relevant and applicable. nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005 and section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.
