(1) for the public benefit to promote the arts, culture and heritage of mirpur region;(2) to advance the education of the public in all aspects of the arts, culture and heritage of mirpur region including language, literature and genealogy in particular by:(a) conducting research into the arts, culture and heritage of mirpur region and ensuring the useful results are disseminated to the public; and(b) creating a digital heritage archive.for the purposes of this clause “mirpur region” means the mirpur district of the erstwhile jammu province, including tehsils bhimber, kotli and mirpur, now present-day azad jammu and kashmir.
