2.1 the organisation's objects are restricted specifically, only to: (a) advance the education in the subject of meditation for the benefit of the public, mainly but not exclusively, by holding meditation group sitting sessions, workshops, classes, and retreats for the learning and practice of meditation; and (b) advance the buddhist faith within the dharma drum mountain lineage of chan buddhism, for the benefit of the public, mainly but not exclusively, through the holding of talks, discussions, lectures, buddhist ceremonies, public celebration of buddhist festivals, and producing and/or distributing literature on chan buddhism to enlighten others about buddhism.
