(1) the advancement of the arts for the public in general, particularly those in west yorkshire, in particular the practice and performance of playback theatre. playback theatre is a form of participatory improvisational theatre which brings personal stories to life through immediate ?playback? using drama, singing, story-telling and music. (2) the advancement of education for the public benefit through the provision of training, learning, coaching and practice activities to the public in general, particularly those in west yorkshire, in particular the improvement of skills, knowledge and practice of playback theatre techniques and advancement in the related abilities of listening, cooperation, self-expression, communication, performance and improvisation.(3) to promote social inclusion for the public benefit, and particularly those in west yorkshire, from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people with experience of social exclusion and assisting them to integrate into society by providing opportunities for social excluded people and others to share personal stories in respectful group settings, enabling participants to recognise our common humanity, and so promote inclusion; andopportunities for social excluded people or those at risk of exclusion to participate in volunteering, learning and arts activities.for the purpose of this clause ?social exclusion? means being excluded from society or parts of society as a result of one or more of the following factors: financial hardship; unemployment; inadequate housing; youth or old age; physical or mental ill health; disability or limiting health condition; inability to access mainstream services; experience of substance abuse or dependency, crime or trauma; or experience of discrimination related to a protected characteristic as defined by the equalities act 2010. nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005 and section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008.
