Objects:
3.1 the objects of the cio are, for the public benefit to promote equality and diversity for the african diaspora, with a particular focus on women, in particular but not exclusively by: 3.1.1 advancing education and raising awareness of the issues of economic inequality affecting the african diaspora as a result of racial inequality; 3.1.2 providing support to african diaspora owned businesses, in particular businesses owned by african diaspora women, which are affected by issues of racial inequality in obtaining funding; and 3.1.3 promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse racial backgrounds in the business sector. 3.2 for the purposes of this clause “african diaspora†means persons of african origin or heritage.
