the object(s) of the cio are:to promote, protect and improve for the public benefit in newcastle upon tyne, the physical and mental health of people with an autistic spectrum condition, their families and friends and anyone who supports, lives or works with somebody with an autistic spectrum condition and to provide support, education, information and practical advice.nothing in this constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the cio for the purposes which are not charitable in accordance with (section 7 of the charities and trustee investment (scotland) act 2005) and (section 2 of the charities act (northern ireland) 2008).
