the objects of the cio are1.to advance the jewish religion for the benefit of the public throughthe holding of prayer meetings, lectures public celebration of religiousfestivals, producing and/or distributing literature on judaism toenlighten others about the jewish religion.2. to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventingpeople from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of thosepeople who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate intosociety.for the purpose of this clause socially excluded means being excluded fromsociety, or part of society, as a result of being a member of a socially andeconomically deprived community.3.to relieve the needs of elderly people who are in charitable need,in particular by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardshipor social and economic disadvantage.4. for the public benefit to promote the education of people in such ways asthe charity trustees think fit, including by:a. providing education in the subjects of philosophy, psychology and ethics andother subjects of educational merit;b. awarding scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable atany university, college or institution of higher or further education;c. providing funding to undertake travel in furtherance of that education.5. to advance in life and help young people through:a. the provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in theinterest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life;b. providing support and activities which develop their skills,capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in societyas mature and responsible individuals.
