the objects of the cio are to advance the education of the public in the arts, particularly, but not exclusively in the subject of music in such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by (without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing):3.1.1 the publication and national and international distribution of books on the arts;3.1.2 the commissioning of such publications;3.1.3 undertaking academic research, the results of which are made public;3.1.4 on-line publications, e-books, print-on-demand and publications in any other forms of media;3.1.5 the publication of articles in journals and elsewhere in any format;3.1.6 the organisation of talks, events and seminars (including online talks, events and seminars);3.1.7 the dissemination of information via websites and through traditional and new media; and3.1.8 the peer review of publications.
