the objects of the cio are, for the public benefit:1) the relief of sickness and suffering amongst persons who have experienced brain, spinal or other complex trauma injury, or serious neurological conditions such as stroke, and by extension their families and carers, in particular but not exclusively by facilitating access to specialist treatment, equipment and other resources to assist in their recovery and rehabilitation.2) to relieve the needs of persons who have experienced brain, spinal or other complex trauma injury, or serious neurological conditions such as stroke, and by extension their families and carers, in particular by the provision of respite, short breaks and trips and experiences to complement and assist in recovery and treatment pathways.
