home for disabled officers. assistance and maintenance of the widows and children and for education of children of officers of the british army or of former indian army who may die from wounds or disease on active service. for the relief of widows and female dependants of officers of her majesty's armed forces who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. relief in any shape or form of all or any person within the following classes who need assistance:- (a) british officers of the indian army the royal indian marines or the royal air force who shall have been permanently incapacitated in or by reason of service in any war in which great britain shall have been engaged or may hereafter be engaged (b)widows and dependants of the deceased british officers of the indian marines and who are not eligible for assistance from the officers association of the royal air force whose death is due to service in any such war as aforesaid including any such officer who may hereafter die (c)indian army reserve officers who have been permanently incapacitated in or by reason of service in any such war aforesaid. (d)widows and dependants of deceased indian army reserve officers whose death is due to service in any such was as aforesaid including any such officer who may hereafter die. relief of distress among ex-officers of h.m. forces their widows and dependants, and to aid and assist and promote the interests of all such persons in such ways as are legally charitable and to re-establish ex-officers of our forces in civil life. general purposes of the officers association benevelent purposes of the officers' association. for aiding widows of sea commissioned officers who appear to stand in need of aid. for aiding widows of sea commissioned officers who appear to stand in need of aid. for aiding widows of sea commissioned officers who appear to stand in need of aid. the objects of the charity are:1) the relief in need of former commissioned officers of the armed forces of the crown and their dependants.2) to aid, assist and promote the interests of such persons in such other ways as are legally charitable including the the support of former commissioned officers of the crown to re-establish themselves in civilian life.
