a) to secure for the public benefit the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in the primary area of benefit and thereafter, and at the trustees' discretion, in the wider area of benefit;b) to preserve for the public benefit historical, architectural, and constructional heritage in the form of buildings of particular beauty or historical, architectural or constructional interest in the primary area of benefit and thereafter, and at the trustees' discretion, in the wider area of benefit;c) to educate the public in the history, architecture, natural history and geography of the wider area of benefit, inparticular but not exclusively by the establishment and maintenance of one or more museums in tewkesbury;d) to promote for the public benefit high standards of planning, and architecture in or affecting the wider area of benefit;e) to provide a community and pleasure garden for the recreation and education of the inhabitants of tewkesbury and persons visiting tewkesbury;f) to provide accommodation for clergy and others connected with the services of tewkesbury abbey church;g) to contribute to the maintenance, repair, preservation, insurance and care of the fabric of the tewkesbury abbey church and its goods and ornaments, in particular but not exclusively, by making grants for such purposes to the friends of tewkesbury abbey (registered charity number 211236).
