to relieve in cases of need persons resident in the area of the city of gloucester and the parishes immediately adjoining thereto who are sick convalescent disabled handicapped furthering the objects of the gloucester relief in sickness charity. in or towards the repair and upkeep of the property of the gloucester relief in sickness charity. for the relief of nurses who are in need and are resident in the area of the city of gloucester and parishes and of retired nurses who are in need and were formally employed by the gloucester district nursing society. if application of income is not required for the objects previously mentioned then the income may be applied in furthering the objects of the charity called the gloucester district nursing charities. (a) the relief of persons in need resident in the area of benefit who are sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm by reliving their suffering or assisting their recovery;(b) the relief of nurses who are in need and are resident in the area of benefit; and(c) the relief of any retired nurses who are in need and who were formerly employed by the gloucester district nursing society
