Objects:
(1) the objects of the charity are: (a) the provision of housing accommodation for elderly people; and (b) such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustee decides.(2) when vacancies exist in the homes which cannot be filled by elderly people, the trustee may admit to the homes other persons who are in need, hardship or distress.(3) subject to the provisions of sub-clause 5(1) of this scheme the land identified in part 1 of the schedule to this scheme must be retained by the trustee for use for the objects of the charity.(4) the land identified in part 2 of the schedule to this scheme must be retained by the trustee for the objects of the charity with preference given to applicants who are english, irish, scottish or welsh protestant widows or single women.
