scheme or schemes for education for the benefit of the members of the royal artillery, their families and dependants preference given to those who suffered in the great war. education of children of r.a. officers in necessitous circumstances. prefernnce to the children of those fallen in, or incapacitated as a result of the war (1914-18). generally to assist regular artillery officers in straitened circumstances, their dependants, widows and families. education. for assisting in education of sons and/or daughters of a serving, retired or deceased officer of the royal artillery. (a) to assist members of the 4th west lancashire old comrades' association and their widows, who may be in need of financial help and with that object in view, (b) to assist in maintaining contact with members of the 4th west lancashire old comrades' association and their widows. benefit of malta convoy (1942). personnel thier families and dependants. if this cannot be applied, the general purposes of the royal artillery charitable fund. 60% of income to kelly holdsworth artillery trust. 40% education - children of officers per r.a.c.f. income to be devoted to educational and financial assistance to sons of combatant officers of the royal regiment at winchester college. (1) assisting officers past or present of the royal artillery who may be in need of financial help. (2) assisting dependent relatives of deceased officers of the royal artillery. benefit families of serving soldiers at shoeburyness garrison, and garrison employees. benefit of members of maritime regiments who served in defence of shipping and/or their dependants 1939/45. education for a deserving gunner case at hileybury - imperial services college - wellington. for the general benefit of soldiers wounded in war. (no particular war stated). for the benefit of such of the following persons as (by reasons of poverty, disability or for any other reason which shall be in accordance with the charitable nature of the trust) are in need of relief or assistance namely: (1) former regular commissioned officers of the royal artillery, (3) widows, children or other dependants of deceased or former regular commissioned officers of the royal artillery. (a) in relief of poverty of all or any past, present or future members of all ranks of the royal artillery, wether regulars, militia, special reserve, territorials or temporary and their families, and the dependants of any deceased members as aforesaid, (b) in paying the expenses of an employment bureau for finding employment for such members of the royal artillery their families and dependants as may be in distress due to unemployment. for the benefit of all or any past, present or future members of all ranks of the royal artillery wether regular, special reserve, territorial or temporary who are in need, and the families and dependants of such members. preference to be given to those who are or have been prisoners of war and the dependants of such prisoners of war or deceased prisoners of war. (1) in promoting the efficiency and welfare of all or any members of all ranks serving in the royal artillery whether regular, special reserve, reserve, or temporary; and(2) in the relief and assistance of all or any past, present or future members of all ranks of the royal artillery whether regular, special reserve, reserve, or temporary and their families and dependants, and the families and dependants of any deceased member (together referred to as ‘the members of the royal artillery, their families and dependents’) who are in need of such relief or assistance by reason of poverty, disability, sickness, infirmity or otherwise. (1) the objects of the charity are:(a) to relieve either generally or individually beneficiaries and their families and dependants who are in need by virtue of financial hardship, sickness, disability or the effects of old age through the provision of grants, loans, gifts, pensions or otherwise;(b) the provision of housing accommodation for past members of the royal artillery who are in need by virtue of financial hardship, sickness, disability or the effects of old age.(2) subject to the provisions of clause 13 of this scheme, the land identified in part 2 of the schedule to this scheme must be retained by the trustee for use for the object of the charity listed in clause 4(1)(b) above. (1) to promote the efficiency of the royal artillery by such charitable means as the trustee shall decide including by fostering esprit de corps, comradeship and the welfare of the regiment and preserving its traditions;(2) to relieve either generally or individually beneficiaries and their families and dependants who are in need by virtue of financial hardship, sickness, disability or the effects of old age through the provision of grants, loans, gifts, pensions or otherwise.
