Objects:
1) the objects of the charity are to educate the public and members of the regiment in the history of the regiment and to promote military efficiency and encourage recruitment by:a) making grants for the maintenance and preservation of the collection;b) purchasing items for the collection; andc) otherwise furthering the objects of the charity called the royal welch fusiliers regimental collection (1057884)2) if and insofar as the income and expendable property of the charity is not required for application towards the object above it may be applied in the following ways and in the following order of priority:a) in relieving members or former members of the regiment and their dependants who are in need, hardship or distress; andb) in promoting the efficiency of the regiment in such ways as the trustees think fit.3) the trustees may relieve persons in need by:a) making grants of money to them; orb) providing or paying for goods, services or facilities for them; orc) making grants of money to other persons of bodies who provide goods, services or facilities to those in need.
