to provide additional financial assitance if necessary to scholarship holders to provide a prize in connection with safety and/or efficiency in sea-going vessels. the award of a post-graduate scholarship in naval architecture grants to members or their dependants in necessitous circumstances award of gold medal for some conspicuous contribution to naval architecture etc. the award of national certificates in naval architecture in conjunction with the worshipful company of shipwrights and the ministry of education. the award of a scholarship in naval architecture the award of a scholarship in marine engineering the award of a scholarship in marine engineering the award of a post-graduate scholarship in naval architecture to provide a prize in connection with scholarship examinations income for assisting necessitous members associate-members and associates of the institution both past and present who have attained the age of 55 years and the wives or elderly dependants of same or deceased members. to provide prizes in connection with the examinations for national certificates in naval architecture. to provide a prize in connection with papers written and presented to the institution by student members. to provide a prize for papers dealing with crew accommodation in merchant ships. note: this fund has no assets beyond balance on deposit at bank. the prize will continue to be offered until the balance is exhausted. the improvement of ships and all that specially appertains to them, and the arrangement of periodical meeting for the purpose of discussing practical and scientific subjects bearing upon the design and constructions of ships and their means of propulsion, and all that relates thereto.
