the objects of the charity (the 'objects') are for the purpose of increasing the knowledge of the branch of science known as psychoanalysis including, but not limited to, training persons to practise psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy and improving the treatment of psychological and mental health problems by the technique of psychoanalysis. assistance of persons in pecuniary need to obtain psycho-analytical treatment or other treatment based on psycho-analytical principles. the objects for which the institute holds the trust fund are: 4.1 the increase in knowledge of the branch of science known as psycho-analysis; and 4.2 the improvement in the treatment of nervous and mental disturbances by the technique of psycho-analysis by the acquisition, conservation, preservation and protection of the archives, and by their use and exploration (especially for research).
