(a) to provide a home to accommodate women or girls in need coming within the following categories:- (i) girls leaving the care of a local authority at eighteen who need a furnished flatlet at a price which they can afford. (ii) girls with or without babies who have no home in which to live (iii) married women with or without babies or very young children who have been deserted by their husbands and in consequence are in need of accommodation whilst trying to obtain homes through a local authority or other housing list.
