Objects:
(1) the provision and maintenance of almshouses for poor men and women of good character of not less than 50 years of age at the date of appointment who are inhabitants of the ancient townships of wincote, glascote, bolehall, amington, wigginton or hamlet of hopwas. (for further details see clause 25 of scheme sealed 23rd september 1955). (2) apprenticing children of either sex to some useful trade or occupation or assisting poor persons who are under 23 years of age and who are preparing for, entering upon or engaged in any trade.
