"pensions for poor persons who are blind otherwise incapacitated from following any employment pensions for indigent persons who have attained the age of 58 years, who have been resident for at least seven years in the area of benefit and who are not eligible for old age pension for the purpose of augmenting the number of pensions granted by the trustees of the parmiters almshouses and pension charity the objects of the charity are: (1) (a) the provision of housing accommodation for persons who: (i) are in need, hardship or distress; and (ii) are resident in the area of benefit. (b) such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide.(2) the relief of persons resident in the area of benefit who are in need, hardship or distress by making grants of money to them including granting pensions. (3) the trustee may apply permanent endowment for the purchase of freehold property to be appropriated and used as almshouses, administered and managed in accordance with the provisions in the schedule to this scheme. the charity's objects (""the objects"") are (1) the provision and maintenance of almshouse accommodation and the payment of pensions for almspeople and pensioners, who shall be poor persons of good character who have resided in the ancient parish of bethnal green for not less than two years next preceding the time of their appointment, and who from age, ill health, accident or infirmity are, wholly or in part, unable to maintain themselves by their own exertions, and (2) the relief of almspeople and pensioners who are in need of such relief by such means as the trustees think fit from time to time."
