the promotion of agriculture in the county of leicestershire in one or more of the following ways:- 1. making grants or loans for agricultural purposes to any farmer grazier or poultry farmer who is in need of financial assistance. 2. making grants or loans for the purpose of assisting the operation of young farmers clubs. 3. making grants or loans towards payment of the cost of the education at an agricultural college of persons proposing to farm land. 4. awarding scholarships to persons proposing to farm land. 5. paying fees of agricultural experts employed by the trustees.
