the objects of the association shall be:- 1) to advance the christian religion amongst deaf persons who reside in the area of the former county borough of wolverhampton, its surrounding hinterland, and the county of shropshire. 2) to relieve such persons in whatever manner is constistent with the principles and powers emobodied within this constitution.
