Objects:

for relieving persons resident in the area of the former urban distric of poulton-le-fylde who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress in the following order of preference:- (i) persons whose need hardship or distress was caused by or arose out of the second world war; (ii) persons who served in the armed forces of the crown in the second world war; (iii) persons who have served in the armed forces of the crown; and (iv) dependants of the above-mentioned persons. (for further details see clause 21-(2) of scheme).
