(1) the almspeople shall be poor persons, with preference given to those of no less than 60 years of age. in respect of three of the almshouses preference shall also be given to persons so qualified who are resident in the parish of morcott at the time of their appointment.(2) upon the death or setting aside of the appointment as an almsperson of one of a married couple of almspeople the trustees may permit the other to remain an almsperson and to continue in the occupation of the almshouse theretofore occupied by the couple or to occupy such other room or rooms as the trustees may allot or the trustees may set aside his or her appointment as an almsperson. for further deatails see scheme dated 15 march 1978.
