the provision of homes for aged people 1. a) the providing of homes for old people in necessitous circumstances. b) the making of donations to any trust organisation or body the objects or purposes of which are exclusively charitable. c) such other objects and purposes being exclusively charitable as the council shall from time to time determine. 2 to promote and to undertake the management of property held on charitable trusts for the benefit of the aged and to undertake and execute any other trusts the undertaking of which may seem calculated to prompt the objects of the council either gratuitously or otherwise.
