(2) if and in so far as income is not required for the purposes above then it may be applied for the general purposes of the linnean sociery of london. an award for scientific work being a bronze medal and balance of income in hand - awarded at intervals of not less than five years. 1. income used to pay the annual contribution of a young student unable to afford fellowship. 2. if income is not required for above then it may be applied for the general purposes of the society. income to increase the salary of the staff of the society from time to time employed. for the cultivation of the science of natural history in all its branches. income to be used at the discretion of the council to support research in systematic biology research in systematic biology research in systematic biology
