income should be applied for giving special comforts, extra clothing, medical assistance or nursing to occupants of almshouses. (2) if on the occasion of a vacancy there is no suitable applicant who qualifies as aforesaid the trustees may appoint as a resident a person otherwise duly qualified who is resident or was born in the parish of leigh, in the county of gloucestershire.
