payments of not more than 11 shillings a week or such sum as the charity commissioners approve from time to time and rent free axxommodation for 6 poor persons of either sex who are (a) over 55 years of age (b) have no child dependents (c) are of good moral character (d) members of some protestant religious body (protestant non-comformist preferred) widows and spinsters to have preference over married couples. reserve fund for providing medical care and comforts in cases of illness. surplus income may be used to provide additional pensions.
