(1) TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE 4TH BATTALION, THE YORKSHIRE REGIMENT OR ANY SUCCESSOR VOLUNTEER OR TERRITORIAL ARMY UNIT, AND IN PARTICULAR OF ANY VOLUNTEER OR TERRITORIAL ARMY UNIT OR DETACHMENT BASED IN HUDDERSFIELD OR WITHIN A FIFTEEN MILE RADIUS OR AT KEIGHLEY, ROTHERHAM OR SHEFFIELD IN SUCH CHARITABLE WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE;(2) TO MAKE GRANTS IN SUPPORT OF THE CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES OF UNITS OR DETACHMENTS OF THE ARMY CADET FORCE AFFILIATED TO THE YORKSHIRE REGIMENT;(3) TO MAKE GRANTS TO RELIEVE MEMBERS AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE 4TH BATTALION, THE YORKSHIRE REGIMENT OR ANY PREDECESSOR OR SUCCESSOR VOLUNTEER OR TERRITORIAL ARMY UNIT WHO ARE IN NEED BY VIRTUE OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, SICKNESS OR OLD AGE;(4) TO MAKE GRANTS TO THE REGIMENTAL MUSEUM TRUST OF THE DUKE OF WELLINGTONãS REGIMENT (WEST RIDING) (REGISTERED CHARITY 246188).
