a) to promote the material mental and spiritual welfare of mentally handicapped children. b) to work for and promote the preservation and development of mental health and the prevention and treatment of mental defect c) to work for and promote the study and research into mental health and mental disorders and defects. d) to foster mutual help and co-operation between the parents, guardians, relatives and friends of the mentally handicapped and all those entrusted with the care of mentally handicapped. e) to support the activities of the national society. f) to raise adequate funds for the achievement of the foregoing objects.
