(a) for the education of selected children of british parents. (b) for the support of any child so selected(in these rules referred to as a ""beneficiay"") until he or she shall have been enabled to support himself or herself in the career of his or her choice. 1)the relief of seafarers, their families or dependants, who are in need, by providing support to organisations established within or (in exceptional circumstances) outside the commonwealth; (2) the education and training of people of any age to prepare for work or service at sea, by providing support to organisations established within or (in exceptional circumstances) outside the commonwealth; (3) the promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of the maritime charitable sector within the commonwealth; (4) the promotion of safety at sea by providing support to organisations established within the commonwealth. to administer all monies received from the south atlantic fund for the exclusive benefit - in cases of need and distress (see cr. file for detail of categories of beneficiaries)"
