for the benefit of persons who shall have been engaged as governesses or school mistresses. the charity exists to help single ladies in need. this help shall include, but not limited to, provision of the following, in accordance with the remainder of these rules:a) regular payments to single ladies in need, in the form of cash and other benefits in kind;b) grants to single ladies in cases of extreme necessity and exceptional circumstances;c) funding social activities to alleviate loneliness and isolation as is often suffered by elderly single ladies;d) funding and financial support of female geriatric health research; ande) funding and support for the protection, promotion and maintenance of the health and safety of single ladies and/or relief of sickness and disability affecting elderly single ladies.
