1) for the maintenance and upkeep of the church of bradfield 2) payment towards the maintenance and repair of the fabric, or in the maintenance of the services and furniture of one or more of the churches of:-oughtibridge, christchurch, stannington, st. james the less- midhope, st. mary- bolsterstone, st. john the evangelist-deepear and st. matthias-stockbridge for the general benefit of the poor of the ancient chapelry of bradfield 1) to further the religious and other charitable work of the church of england in the area of benefit.2) the relief of persons resident on the area of benefit who are in need, hardship or distress. in exceptional cases the trustees may decide to assist someone (who is otherwise qualified) who is: resident outside the area of benefit; or only temporarily resident in the area of benefit.
