"The objects for which the Foundation is established are to provide financial and material assistance, encouragement and support to and for the carrying on of research in pure and applied science and branches thereof (including the provision of scholarships or other emoluments for workers engaged and students preparing themselves to engage in such research) at The Weizmann Institute of Science at Rehovot, Israel (hereinafter called “the Instituteâ€) and any non-profit making educational institution of academic standing with which the Institute shall at any time be amalgamated or associated and any other such institution in Israel or elsewhere. the trustee may combine the investments and moneys representing permanently endowed funds belonging to the participating charities into one pooled fund. to support scientific co-operation between united kingdom scientists and the weizmann institute of science. the income will be used to provide annual scholarships to be known as the rueff-wormser post doctoral endowed fellowships for one or more students from the weizmann institute of science in rehovot to complete their studies outside of israel. to fund a professorial chair at the weizmann institute of science for biological research for medical purposes. to establish a scholarship for the feinberg graduate school of the weizmann institute of science for plant genome research at the weizmann institute of science to endow an m.sc scholarship which will provide support to a young scientist at the weizmann institute of science in perpetuity professorial chair in condensed matter physics at the weizmann institute of science professorial chair in astrophysics at the weizmann institute of science to establish a professorial chair at the weizmann institute of science to fund a professorial chair in molecular genetics at the weizmann institute of science for the endowment of a career development chair in diabetes research at the weizmann institute of science for nominated chairs at the weizmann institute of science for scholarships at wis and a chair in computer science at the weizmann institute of science for endowed scholarships at the weizmann institute of science for the purpose of endowing a phd scholarship at the weizmann institute of science to establish a professorial chair in pure and applied physics at the weizmann institute of science for a post doctoral fellowship for endowed scholarships at the weizmann institute of science a chair at the weizmann institute of science in perpetuity to fund a postdoctoral fellowship in biological sciences and a lectureship at the weizmann institute of science to fund the costs of attendance by uk resident participants at the annual dr bessie f lawrence summer science institute at the weizmann institute of science to support collaborative projects between imperial college london and the weizmann institute of science for research in the life sciences, particularly in relation to human health and welfare (""collaborative research projects"") to support student scientists by the creation of a student scholarship at wis which will contribute towards living expenses and/or other expenses essential to the success of students' scientific research.to support such other scholarships at the wis as the trustees in their absolute discretion from time to time think fit."
