"to provide for the support of members incapacitated by old age, infirmity or illness from performance of their clerical duty. upon trust that they after payment of all expenses and outgoings as therein mentioned pay over the said monies, (as well capital as income) or such portions thereof respectively as should from time to time be the available residue or surplus thereof to the administrator for the time being of the aforesaid secular catholic clergy common fund association or to such other person or persons as should for the time being be entitled according to the existing or future rules and regulations of the said association to receive and give sufficient discharges for the capital and income belonging thereto to the intent that the same might be applied and disposed of by such administrator or other person or person for the objects of the said association and in accordance with the rules and regulations thereof for the time being without any obligation or right on the part of the said trustees or trustee to see to the application or liability on their or his part for the mis-application of such monies. the objects and purposes of a certain association of secular or non-monastic roman catholic clergy in and about london which was formed in or about the year one thousand seven hundred and one to provide for the support of such of their body members of the said association as should be incapacitated by old age infirmity or illness for the performance of their clerical duties which said association is now called ""the secular catholic clergy common fund association"""
