(save the children fund) for the encouragement of marriage among needy members of society of friends (quakers), resident in or belonging to meetings of society of friends in england, scotland and wales. 'the charity's objects ('objects') are specifically restricted to the following: (1) to accept property of any kind in any part of the world whether subject to charges or other liabilities or not (hereinafter referred to as 'any such property') to be held for charitable trusts or purposes for the benefit of or in connection with the religious society of friends (hereinafter referred to as 'quaker trusts or purposes)'. for assistance relief and education of such poor persons ordinarily resident in england germany and poland respectively as may be selected in these countries by the trustee or any of the committees or bodies of persons hereinafter mentioned under the provisions hereinafter contained but so that in the selection of individual persons to receive benefits under this trust the three following classes of persons namely persons over sixty years of age children under fifteen years of age and students following or intending and preparing to follow a course of study at any university shall without any preference between those classes be preferred to other poor persons and so that the income of the trust fund for each year shall be applied as nearly as may in the opinion of the trustee be practicable or of any society committee or body of persons to whom the work of administering the income of the trust fund may be delegated as to forty percent thereof in aid as aforesaid of poor persons ordinarily resident in england as to forty per cent thereof in aid as aforesaid of poor persons ordinarily resident in germany and as to twenty per cent thereof in aid as aforesaid of poor persons ordinarily resident in poland
