(1) the endowments of the charity may be applied in or towards the acquisition of hereditaments at matlock to be used for temperance or other public meetings. (2) pending the above, income may be applied:- (a) in investing the same in augmentation of the endowments of the charity; (b) in the promotion of temperance principals among the inhabitants of matlock and (c) in the assistance of deserving and necessitous working men of matlock being total abstainers, in such ways as the trustees think best.
