(1) in making payments to the crew of any lifeboats stationed in cumberland, or on the solway firth, or at piel,barrow in lancashire or at ramsey isle of man for extra drills or for efficiency and regular attendance at practices or drills. (2) in supply of extra clothing to the crews. (3) in payment of pensions,of gratuities to deserving members of any of the crews of not less than 20 years service. (4) in assisting, by money grants or otherwise, widows and children of former members of any of the crews who lost their lives in connexion with the lifeboats.
