Objects:
(1) the managing trustees of the southern district charities shall apply the clear income and at their discretion the whole or part of the property of the southern district fund for such charitable purpose as they from time to time think fit for the benefit of persons who are members of the army and are from time to time serving the southern district so as to improve their military efficiency or their conditions of life, or in relieving cases of need, hardship or distress of such persons and their dependents (2) the managing trustee of the southern district charities shall apply the clear income and at their discretion the whole or part of the property of the southern district trust in either or both of the following ways:- (a) in making grants to such charitable institutions or organisations established within southern district or elsewhere as they from time to time think fit; (b) in or towards providing recreational facilities for persons who are members of the army and are from time to time serving in southern district so as to improve their military efficiency. (1) the objects of the charity are(a) to promote the military efficiency of persons who are members of the army and who are serving in the geographic area formerly known as 4th division; and(b) to relieve such persons and their dependants who are in need , hardship and distress(2) the trustees may relieve person in need by(a) making grants of money to them; or(b) providing or paying for goods, services or facilities for them; or(c) making grants of money to other persons or bodies who provide goods, services or facilities to those in need
