the trustees shall apply the clear yearly income either by way of insurance of otherwise in or towards defraying the cost of replacing the nets and fishing geat lost at sea such deserving and necessitous fishermen bona-fide resident in the parish of filey the trustees may select for the purpose; provided that if in any year the trustees of opinion that the whole or part of the income cannot usefully be applied as said they may accumulate the same application in any future year or years. for the benefit of poor persons bona-fide resident in the parish of filey who pursue the occupation of fishing at sea, and the families of such persons, with a preference for (1) those who were beneficiaries on the 11th january 1898, and (2) the existing beneficiaries at the date of the scheme, in making payments, under one or more of the following heads, and in such way as the trustees consider most advantageous to the recipients, and most conducive to the formation of provident habits:- i. subscriptions or donations in aid of the funds of any dispensary, infirmary, hospital, or convalescent home, or any institution in which persons suffering from any bodily infirmity are taught any trade or employment, whether general or special, upon such terms (so far as may be) as to enable the trustees to secure the benefits of the institution for the objects of the charity: ii. the supply of clothes, linen, bedding, fuel, tools, medical or other aid sickness, food or other articles in kind: iii. temporary relief in money, by way of loan or otherwise, in cases unexpected loss, or sudden destitution. provided that income shall in no case be applied under this clause in aid of a rates for the relief of the poor or other purposes in the parish, or so that a individual or institution may becom entitled to a periodical or recurrent benefit therefrom. see individual constituents
