Objects:

to relieve persons resident in the health district of southend-on-sea who are substantially and permanently handicapped by illness, injury or congenital deformity.to promote the welfare of such persons by the provision of social centres or clubs intended to relieve the social isolation of such persons and to provide games, entertainment etc for the welfare of such persons.to co-operate with statutory and voluntary bodies in promoting the interests of such persons aforesaid.to advance the education of the public in relation to the situation and problems of physically handicapped persons.
