to provide or contribute to the cost of the provision of residences for the chaplains of the church of england in various parts of the anglican jurisdiction of north and central europe where no such residences exist and to pay or contribute the expenses of upkeep of such residences when provided. in and so far as the income cannot be usefully applied as aforesaid the same may be applied in making grants to chaplains in the anglican diocese of north and central europe to assist them in obtaining suitable temporary housing accommodation.
