the objects of the charity are:(1) to promote the preservation and protection of life and property in the air, in particular the safety of flying personnel and aircraft, and(2) to promote the study of, and research into, the science of meteorology and its application to aviation, by (but not limited to) the award of prizes or other rewards to eligible personnel as the trustees from time to time decide.
