2.1 to provide relief for people with the condition known as parkinsonâ€™s disease and allied conditions (referred to together in these articles as parkinsonâ€™s) and to provide assistance support and advice to people with parkinsonâ€™s and/or their families, dependants, friends and carers and other persons affected by parkinsonâ€™s; 2.2 to promote and support research into the causes, prevention, treatment and cure of parkinsonâ€™s and to disseminate the results of such research; 2.3 to advance the education of the public and health and social care professionals on issues relating to parkinsonâ€™s; and 2.4 to promote any other charitable purpose for the benefit of people with parkinsonâ€™s and/or their families, dependants, friends and carers and other persons affected by parkinsonâ€™s. in each case for the public benefit.
