(a) to provide a free tea for widows in poor circumstances residing within the torquay circuits on a day in the month of march or april in each year such day to be selected by the trustees. (b) for the benefit of poor and impecunious widows and infirmed people at the said circuits at christmas time in every year whether by way of cash or the purchase of coal groceries and other articles and for this purpose te balance remaining after providing for the said tea for the said widows shall in the event of the said churches being affiliated by reason of local methodist union shall be applied to the benefit of the poor in such united circuit or circuits as the trustees may decide.
